After another company told me that the glass for my shattered sliding glass door would have to be special made at extra cost because it was “a non-standard size that was only made by one company that went out of business 25 years ago”. I called Walt’s Window and they saved the day. The folks at Walt’s explained that my glass was in fact standard size, and that they could be there the same day to replace it. So instead of waiting for several days and paying thousands of dollars, I had my new sliding glass door in just a few hours, and it only cost $290.

“My son broke through one of our front windows by throwing a toy through it (he’s 2 and apparently a baseball professional is in the cards). I got several estimates ranging everywhere from $179.99 to $300.00. Walt’s came out on a Saturday afternoon (gave me emergency status because, as the girl on the phone said, she didn’t want a broken window in the house with two kids running around) and fixed the window in less than 30 minutes. Cost? $102 bucks. It was LESS than the woman on the phone quoted me, which was also less than any other quote I got. Bottom line is Walt’s has been in business in this area for a long time for good reason; they know what the h*11 they’re doing; they do it, and they leave.
